Meet the Tourists
At the beginning of March 2026, Scottish Curling named a 20-man squad to compete for the Herries-Maxwell Trophy on a tour to the United States in January/February 2027.
The three-week tour, taking place across January and February 2027, continues the historic curling rivalry between Scotland and the USA. First contested in 1952, the Herries Maxwell Trophy represents decades of friendship, hospitality and shared passion for the Roaring Game across the Atlantic.
The most recent contest, hosted in Scotland in 2022, saw the United States claim the trophy. In 2027, Scotland will be determined to respond on American ice and bring the trophy home once again.
