Gordon Lyon

Gordon William McKenzie Lyon  is a member of Partick Curling Club (founded 1842), which is a founder member club of Dunbartonshire Tenth Province (1860).

Curling History – Gordon started curling at school 1977 and has played ever since, without much improvement, I’m told.  He spent over 30 years in London as a Member of the English Curling Association before returning to Scotland in 2005.

Gordon is currently the President of the English Curling Association, and Founding Member of Margarita Curling Club (1994), which hosts an International Bonspiel in North America every second year - in 2026 in Kelowna BC.

Gordon has curled all over the World, including Moscow, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Madison, and was previously part of the RCCC Men’s Tour to Switzerland in 2009.

Gordon is frequently seen at the World Curling Championships, the best being in Las Vegas.

Ambition – to have a fantastic US Tour with great curling and fabulous experiences.
