John Taylor (Lead)

John started culing in 1987 after an injury curtailed his football career.
John plays for Fossoway Curling Club (mother club) and Glenfarg Curling Club, both in the Loch Leven Province as well as competing with Perth Seniors and Kinross Seniors. He has curled in the Scottish Masters Championships for the past few years. As well as playing as often as possible, John has held various positions in his club and Area (Fife and Kinross) and is also a Trustee and Board Member of Kinross Curling Trust, the owners and operators of the curling rink in Kinross.
John was born in Dundee, brought up in Monifieth, educated in Arbroath and Aberdeen; and has lived in Edinburgh and Dunfermline, before settling in Glenfarg where he has lived for the past 12 years. He has been married to Joyce for 45 years and has two sons, Alastair (41) and Douglas (37) who live in Glasgow and New York respectively. Alastair has two sons (Harris and Brodie) who John has the pleasure of looking after on a regular basis.
John loves travelling and is looking forward to visiting a further 4 US states on the Tour to add to the 23 previously visited
